Evaluation of Caving Property of Close Seam Co-mining Top Coal in Baozigou Mine
Taking the mining of the 9+10+11 coal seam in Baozigou Mine as the research background,this paper conducts research on the roof coal caving behavior through on-site investigation,engineering analogy,numerical calculation,computer simulation and other methods.The results show that during the fully mechanized top coal caving mining,the interlayer gangue and the 9th coal seam belong to Class Ⅲ top coal,with moderate caving ability.The peak support pressure at 10 meters in front of the working face reaches 20.4 MPa,far exceeding the pressure limit of the interlayer strata and the 9th coal seam.The fragmentation and caving of the top coal are good,and it is expected that the first large-scale collapse of the gangue and top coal will occur when the working face exceeds 12 meters.Based on comprehensive analysis and judgment,it is appropriate to choose the top coal caving method for simultaneous mining of coal seams 9+10+11,which is of great significance for guiding the selection of mining technology in mines.
