Development of 800 MPa Automotive Body Steel for 2250 Hot Rolling Production Line
This article introduces the development process and key technologies of 800 MPa automotive body steel on the 2250 hot rolling production line.By optimizing alloy design,adjusting hot rolling process parameters,and implementing special two-stage cooling control,a high-strength steel of 800 MPa grade has been successfully developed to meet the strength requirements of automotive body structures.This article provides a detailed explanation of the selection criteria for alloying elements and their impact on the properties of steel.It analyzes the mechanisms by which temperature,cooling mode,and cooling rate affect the microstructure evolution and mechanical properties during the hot rolling process.The research results indicate that the developed high-strength steel has good strength,toughness,and formability,which can meet the dual needs of automotive lightweighting and safety.
