Production Practice of Carbon Content Stability Control for Medium and High Carbon Steel
Based on the production characteristics of medium and high carbon steel,through the analysis of the entire process of steelmaking and smelting,the influencing factors of carbon content fluctuations were identified,key process control points were identified,and measures were formulated to control the oxygen content at the end of the converter,reduce the tapping temperature,reduce continuous casting carbon increase,and stabilize team operation differences.This achieved stable control of carbon content in medium and high carbon steel,laying a foundation for the production of high-quality products in steelmaking plants and making positive contributions to reducing steelmaking production costs.
