Heating Hood Air-Fuel Ratio Optimization of Bell Annealing Furnace
Coke oven gas used for heating hood combustion of bell annealing furnace is a mixed gas, which has an unstable calorific value. It is easily affected by various factors, which greatly interferes with the setting of the air-fuel ratio of the heating hood.If the air-fuel ratio is set too high, more exhaust gas being discharged, resulting in more heat loss and reduced thermal efficiency. If the air-fuel ratio is set too low,the heating capacity being insufficient, the annealing time being long, which reduces production. Both of them can cause pollution to the atmosphere. This article introduces a control strategy for the feedback method of exhaust gas oxygen content. After measurement and calculation, the optimal value and adjustment range of the air-fuel ratio were ultimately deter mined, achieving closed-loop control of the air-fuel ratio during the annealing process, solving the problem of unstable gas calorific value. The heating hood can burn completely, saving energy and reducing emissions, achieving the expected effect.
