Preparation and Thermogravimetric Analysis of Metal Protective Coatings under Hot Working Conditions
In order to enhance the anti-corrosion effect of metal coatings,a protective coating for metal hot processing was designed under the condition of 25℃,using vulcanized silicone rubber and methyl silicone oil as the main raw materials, and adding auxiliary materials such as expanding fire retardant, silane coupling agent, calcium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide nanoparticles, and glass fiber. The results show that when the ambient temperature is 1 000 ℃,the oxide layer formed on the metal surface treated with the third formula is the thinnest, with a thickness of only 8 μm.When the ambient temperature rises to 1 100 ℃,the coatings of all three formulations no longer work.Under the same conditions, formula 3 experiences greater stress and strain compared to the other two formulas for most of the time. With the improvement of the formula, the elastic modulus of formula 3 has increased by 109.5%and 47.9%respectively compared to formula 1 and formula 2,while the tensile strength of formula 3 has increased by 290.8%and 113.7%respectively compared to formula 1 and formula 2,indicating that the adsorption force of the coating on the metal surface is sufficient to resist external tension.
