Mineral Analysis and Application Research of Tuff in Xinyang Shangtian Ladder
Mineral identification,chemical composition and mineral composition analysis,mineral separation and purification,mineral dissociation degree,and other comprehensive testing and analysis were conducted on the Shangtianti tuff in Xinyang.Targeted physical and chemical testing and application research were carried out.The Shangtianti tuff has the characteristics of high silicon,rich potassium,low iron,and high natural whiteness.The ore w(K2O)ranges from 7.3％to 8.2％,which is much higher than the K2O content of similar tuffs in China(w(K2O)＜5％).The content of potassium feldspar minerals(mass fraction)reaches 55％,making it the main mineral for potassium in tuffs and a new type of"industrial rock".
