Research on the Sources of Ammonia Nitrogen in Groundwater at Steel Enterprises
Groundwater, serving as a foundational natural resource for human survival and development,is vital to both drinking water supply and industrial demands. However, the production activities of steel manufacturing enterprises can notably impact the quality of groundwater, with ammonia nitrogen being a prevalent groundwater contaminant in the vicinity of steel plants. This paper delves into the distribution of ammonia nitrogen concentrations in groundwater beneath steel mills, analyzing the relationship between its sources and the production processes. Its aim is to provide targeted improvement measures and guidance for the steel industry in environmental management, aiming to effectively reduce the ammonia nitrogen load on groundwater environments caused by production activities.Ultimately,it strives to ensure the safety and sustainable use of groundwater resources, thus promoting the in-depth practical implementation of green production concepts within the industrial sector.
