Application on the Recovery of Waste Heat Steam from the Riser Tube of a Coke Oven in the Negative Pressure Debenzylated Process
In the recovery and production of coking benzene products,a tube furnace is used to burn coke oven gas and heat wash oil for benzene removal. From the operation effect,it can be seen that there is an open flame in the tubular furnace, which poses a safety hazard. The high temperature of the tube furnace accelerates the deterioration rate of the washing oil, resulting in increased consumption of the washing oil.The tubular furnace consumes coke oven gas,has high exhaust temperature and contains harmful substances, and poses pollution problems. In view of this, finding a sustainable, safe, and environmentally friendly heating method that can replace tube furnace heating for oil washing for benzene removal has been one of the innovative directions in the coking industry in recent years. This article discusses the construction of a riser waste heat recovery project and the application of recovered coke oven riser waste heat steam in the negative pressure benzene removal process, utilizing the characteristics of sustained production of coke ovens, continuous output of thermal energy contained in the generated coke oven gas, high grade, and recyclable high-quality waste heat steam.
