Application Research on Automatic Control System of Pulse Heating Furnace for Steel Rolling
In order to solve the problem of high difficulty and low accuracy in temperature control during the combustion process of heating furnaces caused by random factor interference,a pulse type automatic control system is proposed.Through theoretical analysis of the principle and structural composition of pulse combustion control,this paper proposes an automation control strategy for the 2nd production line of a large steel enterprise,and develops a pulse combustion program.Dynamically optimize the operation status of the pulse heating furnace for steel rolling through an automation control system,conduct experimental verification,and evaluate the application effect of the automation control system.The results show that the furnace temperature response speed is fast,the slab temperature is uniform,and the pulse combustion control is accurate.To develop optimal heating curves for different steel grades,an optimized temperature control model is used to automatically control the slab temperature.The automation control technology proposed in this study can improve the heating effect of steel plate billets,save energy consumption,and has guiding significance for the technological transformation of pulse heating furnaces for steel rolling.
