Research on the Evolution Law of Inclusions in Low Alloy Structural Steel During Smelting
Analyze and study the corresponding laws between the changes in refining slag, aluminum calcium composition, oxygen and nitrogen composition, and the quantity and type of non-metallic inclusions during the refining process of Q420 low alloy structural steel. The results show that the lower the w(FeO)and w(MnO)in the refining slag, the lower the w(MnO)and w(MgO),the higher the w(Al2O3),the less the sulfide inclusions in the steel, the less the number of Al2O3 inclusions, and the more the number of MnO and MgO inclusions. The higher the w(Alt)in the steel in each process, the lower the w(Ca),the more the number of Al2O3 inclusions in the steel, and the less the number of sulfides and Al2O3 inclusions. The higher the total oxygen mass fraction in the steel, the more the total number of inclusions.
