Research on Optimization of Six roll Rolling Mill Based on Finite Element Analysis
Finite element analysis method is used to optimize the performance of six high rolling mill in metal rolling process.Firstly,a finite element model of the six high rolling mill was established to analyze its performance shortcomings.On this basis,an optimization plan for the six high rolling mill was proposed,mainly including the addition of stabilizing rollers,replacement of the working roller drive shaft,addition of the working roller running mechanism,and modification of the instrument and electrical system.After optimization,the pass rate of the test reached 92%,and the average difference between the whole plate and the plate of the test sample was about 5.8 µm.Compared with before the optimization of the six roll rolling mill,the difference between the whole plate and the plate of the six roll rolling mill after optimization was reduced by 9.5 µm.The data shows that the application effect of the six high rolling mill in actual production has been significantly improved,with a significant reduction in the same plate difference between the whole plate and the edge,a significant improvement in the flatness of the steel plate,and an effective improvement in the stability of the rolling process and product quality.
