Research on Prediction Technology for Wear and Edge Hardening of Hot Rolled Narrow Strip Rolls
In the process of hot rolling narrow strip production,in order to pursue efficient production,the full load operation of the finishing mill unit leads to faster roll loss and localized hardening of the roll edges in the four roll rolling mill.The abnormal state of the rolling mill makes it difficult to accurately predict the roll shape and hardness,which has a negative impact on the calculation of roll gaps and the stability of product quality.On the other hand,the abnormal loss of rollers also increases production costs.Therefore,in response to the problem of roll consumption caused by the inability to accurately predict roll wear and edge hardening during the production process of hot-rolled narrow strip steel products in a certain steel plant,a mathematical model for roll wear and edge hardening in a precision rolling unit is established.Based on the actual situation on site,corresponding roll wear and edge hardening technologies are developed to provide theoretical basis for the use of on-site rolls,guide the roll change cycle and grinding process.
