Production Practice of Reducing Powder Return Rate in Magang 2×380m2 Sintering Machine
In order to reduce the return rate of two 380 m2 sintering systems at Magang,factors affecting the return rate were analyzed from multiple operational perspectives,including comprehensive control of coke powder particle size,sintering material distribution,sintering ignition,and cooling rate control.The distribution of return ore in the sintering material layer was identified,and the factors causing return ore in the material layer were analyzed.By implementing thick layer sintering,controlling the pressing amount reasonably,maintaining a flat fabric,optimizing the sintering fabric system configuration,arranging the flat and pressing plates reasonably,enhancing the surface sintered ore strength,and reducing edge effects.Implement uniform temperature insulation technology for ignition furnaces,reduce surface cooling rate,delay surface sintering shrinkage,and eliminate surface sintering cracks.And develope a belt cooling machine prediction model to achieve uniform cooling of sintered ore,effectively reducing the sintering return rate.
