Practice of Reducing Coking in Waste Heat Boiler During High-grade Copper Smelting Process
During the process of high-grade copper smelting in a certain factory, coking often occurs in the radiation zone of the boiler. How to avoid boiler coking is a major challenge faced by high-grade copper smelting in copper converters. The occurrence of boiler coking not only reduces the heat exchange rate of the boiler and lowers the negative pressure of the waste heat boiler, but also causes damage to the boiler scraper, and also affects the yield of copper converter, resulting in a decrease in copper element. To solve the problem of boiler coking in the factory,a detailed analysis was conducted on the causes of boiler coking.Based on production practice, specific measures were proposed to reduce boiler coking during the smelting process of high-grade ice copper in the converter.
