激光冲击对刀具TiO2-ZrO2热障冶金涂层结构的影响

摘要
采用自制方法获得单层结构的TiO2与双层结构的TiO2-ZrO2热障冶金涂层,对其进行激光冲击强化测试并表征了涂层的微观组织结构与晶体类型的改变.研究结果表明:涂层形成了明显的柱状分布形态的树枝晶组织,树枝晶间产生了大量微洞;当涂层受到激光冲击强化作用后出现了烧蚀,抑制了热量在法线上的传输,达到更高的表面温度,并引起晶粒尺寸的增大;经过激光冲击强化处理后,双层TiO2-ZrO2出现了烧蚀情况,形成了具有取向排列状态的TiO2晶粒,该研究有助于提高热障涂层和刀具基体的冶金结合能力,提高刀具的使用寿命.
Abstract
Single-layer TiO2 and double-layer TiO2-ZrO2 thermal barrier metallurgical coatings were prepared by a self-made method.The microstructure and crystal types of the coatings were characterized by laser shock intensification.The results show that the coating forms a columnar dendrite structure,and a large number of micro-holes are generated between the dendrites.When the coating is strengthened by laser shock,ablation occurs,which inhibits the transfer of heat on the normal line,reaches a higher surface temperature,and causes the increase of grain size.After laser shock intensification,the two-layer TiO2-ZrO2 was ablated,and TiO2 grains with orientation were formed.The research is helpful to improve the metallurgical bonding ability of the thermal barrier coating and the tool base and prolong the service life of the tool.
