Improvement Analysis of Cold Deformation Hardness Problem in Annealed and Pickled 304 Stainless Steel Products
In response to the problem of abnormally high hardness during cold deformation of annealed and pickled 304 stainless steel, this article analyzes the reasons from the perspective of phosphorus breaking and straightening tension, and conducts experimental testing. The results indicate that some 304 stainless steel hardness meet the standards but exceed the internal control requirements, and the occurrence rate of hardness(HRB)exceeding 89 and 90 is unstable. After comprehensive analysis,it is believed to be caused by cold deformation. In order to improve the quality of 304 stainless steel products, the relationship between the tension of the phosphorus breaking straightening machine and various indicators was studied, and a tension improvement strategy was proposed to control the tension coefficient within 5.Under these conditions,304 stainless steel products were produced, and the product hardness(HRB)stability reached 98.7%,indicating a good improvement effect on product quality. This study provides technical guidance for hardness control of 304 stainless steel products and avoids abnormal hardness phenomena.
