Characteristics of Mineral Resource Development in Henan Province and Reflections on Breakthrough Actions in Mineral Exploration
Based on the systematic study on the development characteristics of mineral resources in Henan Province,this paper summarizes the spatial distribution characteristics and main mineralization types of mineral resources in Henan Province.It is concluded that Henan province is generally divided into two types:sedimentary and post-sedimentary transformation mineralization in the North China stratigraphic area and magmatic hydrothermal and tectonic mineralization during the collision orogeny in the south.this article had pointed out 8 key ore concentration areas,namely,Anlin ore concentration area,Mianchi-Songji ore concentration area,Xiaoqinling-Xiaoxiaoshan gold and molybdenum ore concentration area,Xiongershan ore concentration area,Lushi-Luanchuan ore concentration area,Tuanyuan ore concentration area,Zhuguo-Jianshan ore concentration area,Tongbai-Xinyang-Guangshan-Xinxian polymetallic ore concentration area.Some potential prospecting areas and areas that need to continue geological work are pointed out,and suggestions are put forward,aiming to provide reference and guidance for breakthrough strategic actions in later mineral exploration.
