Stability Analysis of Open-pit Joint Boundary Expansion Mining Slope in Baiyun Ebo Iron Mine
The stability analysis of the open-pit joint boundary expansion mining slope in Baiyun Ebo Iron Mine aims to evaluate and optimize the stability of the slope in the eastern mining area to ensure mining safety. The influence of different expansion schemes on slope stability was studied through geological condition analysis,three-dimensional numerical simulation method(Flac 3D software),and strength reduction method. The results show that among the four considered expansion schemes,Scheme 1(slope angle 14 °,slope height 438 m)and Scheme 2(slope angle 41 °,slope height 498 m)have good stability performance.Among them,Scheme 1 has a smaller degree of shear failure and the highest safety factor. The conclusion indicates that smaller slope angles and heights help improve slope stability and provide scientific basis for safe production in mining areas.
