Research on Wastewater Treatment of Flue Gas Purification System for Aluminum Carbon Baking Furnace
The wastewater from the flue gas purification system of the roasting furnace mainly comes from two sources.Firstly, during the cooling process of spraying water on the flue gas in the cooling tower, the water is not completely evaporated, resulting in some backflow water. The second is the flushing water for the electric tar catcher. In the past, these wastewater were mainly treated by adding neutralizing agents to adjust the pH value and natural sedimentation before being recycled. However, after multiple cycles of reuse, the acidity of the wastewater increases, and the neutralization effect of the neutralizing agent is poor, leading to prominent equipment corrosion problems on site.In addition, the amount of impurities in the water increases, and pipeline blockages occur frequently, which has a significant impact on the safe and stable operation of the purification system. To this end,the wastewater is mainly treated through primary filtration, chemical neutralization, softening of water quality, and sedimentation of flocculants. After being filtered by a filter press,it is returned to the reservoir for backup. After a set of treatments is completed, the water quality can be effectively improved to meet industrial standards, completely solving the problems of pipeline and equipment corrosion and blockage.
