Study on the Influence of Different Cr Additions on the Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of TC4 Titanium Alloy
Samples were prepared with different amounts of Cr element to study the microstructure and mechanical properties of TC4 titanium alloy fibers, aiming to optimize the preparation process, control the Cr addition, and improve the comprehensive performance of TC4 titanium alloy.Research has shown that sintered alloys exhibit bimodal microstructure characteristics when w(Cr)≤ 2%.Compared with TC4 titanium alloy without Cr element, the strength increased by 6.7%and reached 926 MPa at a content of 2%,with enhanced toughness.TC4 titanium alloy has Weibull microstructure characteristics, corresponding to w(Cr)of 3%and 4%.The strength of the alloy increases with the increase of Cr content. This research provides technical guidance for the optimization of TC4 titanium alloy process, achieving reasonable control of Cr addition, leveraging the performance advantages of Cr element, and improving the production quality of titanium alloy.
