Application of X-ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy Analysis Technology in the Detection of Small-sized High-temperature Alloys
X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy was used to determine 13 elements including P,Si,Mn,Cr,Ni,Mo,Cu,Fe,Co,Al,Nb,Ti,and W in small-sized high-temperature alloy samples. When analyzing elements with low excitation intensity such as P,Si,Ti,and Al,adjusting the measurement power of the corresponding channel of the instrument to 30 mA/120 kV(3.6 kW)can effectively improve the accuracy of the measurement.Measure low alloy steel, stainless steel,high-temperature alloy standard materials and quality control samples in a ø6 mm sample cup, establish calibration curves, and use basic parameter method combined with empirical coefficient method to eliminate spectral line interference between elements. At the same time, for welding wire samples with a diameter of not less than 1.5 mm,a hydraulic press can be used to press them into thin sheets with a diameter greater than ø8 mm and a thickness of 0.5 mm,and the surface can be polished flat on a grinding machine for measurement. The accuracy and precision of the measurement meet the quality control requirements. The use of this method not only solves the analysis problem of small-sized samples, greatly improves detection efficiency, but also provides an important detection method for in-situ statistical distribution analysis of small-sized samples.
