Research on the Preparation of Carbonaceous Reducing Agent Pellets for Industrial Silicon Production
Petroleum coke powder was used as the raw material for the preparation of carbonaceous reducing agent pellets for industrial silicon production.The effects of micro silicon powder addition ratio,NaOH solution concentration,NaOH solution moisture content,forming pressure,and binder addition on the wet ball compressive strength,dry ball compressive strength,crushing rate,thermal strength,and porosity of the pellets were analyzed.The results showed that the best pellet performance was achieved under the conditions of an 8％addition ratio of microsilica powder,a NaOH solution concentration of 5 mol/L with a moisture content of 10％,and a forming pressure of 30 MPa.
