Research on the Improvement of Metal Melting and Casting Process Using Ultrasonic Assisted Technology
Based on the propagation characteristics of ultrasonic waves in metal melts and the influence mechanism of ultrasonic treatment on metal melts,ultrasonic assisted melting experiments were conducted.The results indicate that the use of ultrasonic assisted technology in the metal melting process can significantly improve the quality of the melt,reduce porosity and inclusions,and refine the grain structure.The use of ultrasonic assisted technology in the casting process can improve pouring efficiency,enhance metal flowability,and reduce shrinkage and porosity.After adopting ultrasonic assisted technology,the tensile strength of the castings increased by 15%to 20%,and the elongation rate increased by 10%to 15%.Based on the research results,an optimized ultrasonic assisted metal melting and casting process flow and process schemes applicable to different metals were proposed.The research results can provide new technological paths for improving metal melting and casting processes,and have certain theoretical and practical value.
