The integration of transportation and tourism is a new industrial model formed by the combination of transporta-tion and tourism services,which promotes the transformation and breakthrough of traditional transportation from a single access function to multiple functions such as recreation,culture,economy,ecology,and society.This article takes the main urban area of Nanjing as the research object.Based on the analysis of the integrated development of transportation and tourism in the research area,a"fast-forward and slow-moving"urban transportation and tourism integration develop-ment system is constructed,which is of great theoretical and practical significance for promoting the high-quality develop-ment of urban tourism and transportation.
