As a gymnasium type public building,stormproof playground usually has unique and complex shape;It is diffi-cult to deal with in the structural analysis of large-span,uneven distribution of horizontal and vertical stiffness because it is a Class B building,so its calculation and analysis are more strict.Taking Yinchuan No.1 Middle School stormproof playground as an example,this paper analyzes and discusses the problems existing in the gymnasium structure and its ap-proaches,which provides a reference for the structural design of similar buildings.
