Research on spatial accessibility of elderly care institutions in Nanjing City based on improved two step mobile search method
Spatial accessibility is one of the key indicators for evaluating the scientific configuration of urban elderly care service facilities.Accurately measuring the spatial heterogeneity of urban elderly care institutions and planning public spaces for elderly care is an important guarantee for achieving stable and healthy urban development.Taking Nanjing as an example,a random forest model was constructed based on multi-source data to grid the resident population in Nanjing in 2022.The improved two-step mobile search method was used to calculate the accessibility classification of elderly care service facilities. The spatial autocorrelation of elderly care institutions was constructed to explore their spatial differentia-tion characteristics. The results indicate that the overall accessibility of elderly care institutions in Nanjing is good, but there are significant differences in regional allocation. The accessibility of the main urban area and sub central urban area is high, while the accessibility of the urban-rural fringe and peripheral rural areas is poor.
