Study on the shaping of urban features and characteristics in Wuqia County,Xinjiang from the cultural perspective
With the rapid advancement of urbanization and the impact of foreign cultures,less and less content of regional culture is reflected in urban features,and the importance of regional culture inheritance is becoming more and more promi-nent.This paper constructs a theoretical framework for shaping urban features based on regional culture,taking the old city renewal planning of Wuqia County,Xinjiang as a case.This paper analyzes and excavates its national culture,natural culture,port trade culture and residential architecture culture,and extracts the characteristic regional cultural gene.Fi-nally,it puts forward the feature planning strategy based on regional culture from the four aspects of overall guidance,ar-chitectural optimization,landscape design and street theme,providing certain reference for the inheritance and utilization of regional culture in the shaping of urban features.
