Experimental study on mechanical properties of desert sand fiber ceramsite concrete
In order to study the mechanical properties of desert sand fiber light aggregate concrete(DPFLWC),the 28 d compressive strength and splitting strength of polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete with different dosages were experi-mentally studied. The variation of splitting tensile strength and compressive strength under different fiber content was dis-cussed.The conversion formula of the relationship between cleavage strength and compressive strength was established. The results show that with the increase of fiber content, the compressive strength and splitting strength increase first and then decrease, and when the fiber content is high, the strength growth rate decreases. The energy dissipation analysis showed that polypropylene fiber played a toughening role and improved the energy dissipation capacity.Combined with the existing literature data, the reliability of the proposed formulas of splitting tensile strength and compressive strength is veri-fied.The results can provide a reference for the application of desert sand fiber ceramsite concrete in engineering.
