Study on road traffic congestion alleviation scheme in Hongkou District,Shanghai
With the increase of urban motor vehicle ownership,the problem of road congestion has become increasingly prominent,and the scarcity of land resources in the central urban area has made it more and more difficult to solve the contradiction between the supply of road network and the demand for transportation.In this context,road congestion can be alleviated and traffic capacity can be improved through engineering measures of local node transformation.Based on the analysis of the current traffic conditions and congestion causes in Hongkou District,Shanghai,the specific measures and implementation effects of congestion alleviation design of road nodes are discussed,in order to provide reference for con-gestion alleviation projects at other nodes.
