Selection and adaptability analysis of shield for large-diameter railway tunnel in composite strata in Guangzhou area
Shield construction has become a common method in tunnel engineering construction due to its advantages of high efficiency and small disturbance.The geological and hydrological environment of different projects is different.Whether the shield equipment can adapt to the geological and hydrological environment is the key factor to determine whether the construction can be carried out efficiently and safely,which is more obvious in the construction of large-diame-ter tunnels in composite strata.Based on the liaison line tunnel project of Guangzhou South Railway Station,three major risks of shield selection adaptability,cutterhead tool wear and large-diameter shallow-buried shield tunneling contro are i-dentified in the project interval,so as to carry out adaptive selection design for shield selection,cutterhead tool and pro-pulsion drive system.The shield equipment after targeted design has excellent adaptability in this interval,which can im-prove construction efficiency and ensure construction safety.
