The implementation of rural revitalization strategy for the coordinated development of urban and rural planning provides new opportunities and challenges.Based on the background of rural revitalization,this paper analyzes the prob-lems of urban-rural planning coordination mechanism,including imperfect planning system,inadequate coordination be-tween departments,low public participation,etc..Through case analysis and field investigation,the paper puts forward some optimization measures,such as perfecting laws and regulations,establishing cross-department coordination platform and introducing intelligent management.The results show that the establishment of a sound coordination mechanism of ur-ban and rural planning for the promotion of urban and rural integration development,rural revitalization is of great signifi-cance.
