Underground water hydrochemical characteristics and indexes of Kuangou Coal Mine
The characteristics and evolution of groundwater chemistry play an important role in coal mining and water disas-ter control.Taking Kuangou Mining area as the research object,we studied the chemical characteristics and sources of sur-face water, confined water and mine water in the mine by comprehensively using Piper trilinear diagram,Gibbs chart and ion ratio. The degree of hydraulic relation between them was quantitatively calculated by measuring the Cl-concentration of each type of water. The results show that the chemical types of surface water are HCO3-Ca and SO4-Ca,and that of mine water and confined water is HCO3-Na.The formation of the three types of water chemical composition is mainly controlled by rock weathering. In addition,it is also affected by the alternating adsorption of cations. The main ion source of surface wa-ter is from the dissolution of carbonate minerals, while the main ion source of confined water and mine water is from the dis-solution of silicate minerals, and there is a certain amount of sulfate minerals in the strata of the study area. The hydraulic relation between surface water and confined water, and between surface water and mine water are 0.283 and 0.276,respec-tively,indicating a moderate degree of connection. The hydraulic relation between confined water and mine water is 0.009,which is very close, indicating that mine water is from the confined water.
