Spontaneous combustion characteristics of air drying oxidation in deep mine acid immersed coal seams
In order to investigate the characteristics of spontaneous combustion during air drying oxidation of deep mine acid immersed coal seams,a coal sample from a certain mine in Shaanxi Province was selected to conduct programmed tempera-ture-rising experiment using an oxidation simulation experimental system. The oxygen consumption and the production of CO,CO2,and CH4 of pre oxidized and immersed air drying coal samples and raw coal samples were compared and analyzed, and the characteristics of spontaneous combustion of coal samples under these different conditions were analyzed. The results show that the oxygen consumption of the coal sample immersed in water and dried by air is the smallest under acidic condi-tions,which indicates that the coal sample is prone to oxidative spontaneous combustion when the oxygen concentration is low.The production of CO,CO2 and CH4 in coal samples immersed in water and air dried under acidic conditions is the lar-gest,which indicates that this coal sample is at high risk of oxidative spontaneous combustion. In short, when the coal body is in the condition of high temperature and weakly acidic immersing and air drying, the risk of coal oxidative spontaneous combustion is the greatest. The research is of guidance for high yield, high efficiency and safe production of mine.
