Shendong mining area has shallow coal seams(mostly within 100 m)with thin overlying bedrock and stable coal seams,which has the advantages of implementing large-scale intensive equipment supporting management mode.Since the establishment of Shendong Company,it has formed a core supporting system for the construction of tens of millions of tons of mine groups based on the world's cutting-edge and innovative coal mining technology.The rapid development of Shendong Coal Group is inseparable from the highly intensive equipment supporting management mode.The characteristics and advan-tages of the supporting management of Shendong tunneling equipment are discussed in this paper,and the matching standard of tunneling equipment in the intensive equipment supporting management mode is analyzed and explained.
