Deformation characteristics of the surrounding rocks of retention roadway in thick coal seam of Huangling No.2 Coal Mine
The width of pillar in thick coal seam has an important effect on the recovery rate of coal resources and the stabil-ity of surrounding rock. For the reasonable width of coal pillar in Huangling No.2 Coal Mine, the stress of surrounding rock with different width of coal pillar is analyzed by numerical simulation method and field measurement technology, and the e-volution trend of anchor cable stress and roof separation is monitored. The results show that varies in the scale of stress peak and displacement peak are least when the coal pillar size is from 12 m to 18 m,and finally the coal pillar size is determined to be 15 m.Engineering monitoring shows that the advance influential range of mining dynamic pressure is 220 m,and the rapid development stage of mine pressure is from-50 m to 75 m from the working face to Silian roadway. After 50 m of mining, the anchor cable stress and roof separation tend to be stable, which verifies that the stability of coal pillar retention roadway on the 303 working face of Huangling No.2 Coal Mine meets the support control requirement of surrounding rock.
