Ecological restoration and carbon sink estimate of coal mine under"dual carbon"strategy——Taking a coal mine in Bijie of Guizhou as an example
The ecological environment destruction and the decline of carbon sink storage capacity due to the development and utilization of coal mineral resources have always been a problem that has attracted much attention in the ecological res-toration of mine. The mode of traditional mine ecological restoration is mainly centralized local green restoration instead of paying attention to the carbon sinking capability of relevant plants.Under the"dual carbon"strategy,we must change the concept of traditional ecological restoration, adopt the"double carbon"concept and apply carbon-sinking plants to carry out the ecological restoration and carbon sink estimate in typical mines.Practical experience in a coal mine in Bijie of Guizhou shows that after the ecological restoration, newly accumulative carbon sink is increased by 46.94 tCO2-e,realizing transfor-mation from"carbon source"to"carbon sink",which has an important effect on the regional carbon balance and relief of regional climate change.
