Aiming at the stress change of roadway surrounding rock caused by the increase of tunneling speed,based on the background of I010101 lower mining roadway tunneling face in Bl coal seam of Kuangou Coal Mine,the stress distribution characteristics and plastic zone distribution characteristics of roadway surrounding rock under different tunneling speeds are studied through field monitoring and numerical simulation experiment methods,and the influence of tunneling speed increase on roadway surrounding rock state is analyzed.Dynamic adjustment of driving speed is carried out.The research results show that as the driving speed of I010101 lower mining roadway is increased from 10 m/day to 15 m/day and 20 m/day,the verti-cal stress does not increase significantly,and the stress distribution pattern is basically similar,and the stress level is in the range of greater than 14 MPa and less than 18 MPa.The stress of I010101 lower mining roadway is not increased much after the driving speed is increased,the impact risk index Im in the area is slightly less than 1,slightly more than 1,and the im-pact risk level is from zero to weak.The advancing speed of the driving face can be appropriately increased under the prem-ise of full pressure relief.It is recommended that the driving speed should not be too large during the initial driving after a long period of stop/rest,and the speed should be steadily increased instead of too fast.
