Effect of multi-walled carbon nanotubes on mechanical properties of shotcrete
We study the influence of multi-walled carbon nanotubes on the mechanical properties of shotcrete and the micro-scopic mechanism to improve the stability of coal mine concrete support.Using the method of"polyvinyl pyrrolidone+mix-ing+ultrasonic"to obtain MWCNTs dispersion,combining shotcrete technology and nano-characterization technology,the effect of different addition of MWCNTs on the mechanical properties and internal microstructure changes of shotcrete is ex-plored.The experimental results show that with the increase of MWCNTs content,the compressive strength and splitting ten-sile strength of shotcrete show a trend of increasing first and then decreasing.When MWCNTs is 0.3wt.%,the flexural strength and splitting strength of shotcrete reach the peak value.According to micro-technical analysis,the addition of 0.2wt.%or 0.3wt.%of MWCNTs has a positive effect on improving the internal structure of concrete.
