Risk assessment of water inrush from coal seam roof in the central and western regions of Hongliulin Coal Mine
The continuous increase of raw coal output in Yushen mining area is of great significance for promoting the con-struction of energy base in the west of China and ensuring national energy security. With the continuous increase of coal seam mining depth and the increasingly complex geological environment conditions, the water hazard of coal seam roof has become increasingly prominent. In this paper, based on the hydrogeological exploration results in the central and western re-gions of Hongliulin Coal Mine, the hydrogeological conditions and water filling factors of the coal mine are studied and ana-lyzed,and the risk of roof water inrush in coal seam mining has been evaluated. The research results show that the water in-rush of coal seam mining in the central and western regions of Hongliulin Coal Mine mainly comes from the water in the o-verlying aquifer and the standing water in the old goaf, and some areas with thin overburden are also affected by the surface water as the water conducting fracture zone penetrates the surface. However,in general, the water inrush degree is controlled by the development height of the water conducting fracture zone. The suggestions for water prevention and control provide a scientific basis for the subsequent safe mining of coal seams in the middle and west of the mine and the exploration and drainage of roof water.
