Safety design method of new surface buildings above the old goaf
The closure of numerous underground mines in China has caused urban renewal and transformation to prioritize the development and utilization of land resources in abandoned mining areas.In order to boost the utilization of abandoned land resources,the capacity of the coal gangue to fill the foundation is assessed.Considering the engineering plan,building structure design and feasibility calculation,a frame-shear wall structure with robust deformation resistance is feasible in the subsidence area.In light of the surface deformation characteristics,four typical locations are chosen to carry out the engi-neering construction.The results shows that newly built structures above the old goaf of Laohutai mining area can not cause second"vitalization"of the goaf.The gangue-filled foundation is stable under the load action of the designed buildings.
