Application of FLUENT numerical simulation in determining goaf spontaneous combustion"three zones"
In order to determine the distribution of the"three zones"of spontaneous combustion in the goaf of fully mecha-nized mining face,the FLUENT numerical simulation method is used to study the"three zones"of spontaneous combustion in the goaf of Laoshidan Coal Mine.By building a model for the goaf of the working face,the O-ring parameters of mining fracture is determined,the seepage control equation and the momentum equation of the porous media in the goaf are estab-lished,and the index dividing the"three zones"of spontaneous combustion is determined as the size of the air leakage ve-locity in the goaf.FLUENT numerical simulation is carried out and the wind velocity distribution diagram is drawn.Accord-ing to the distribution of wind speed,the"three zones"range of spontaneous combustion in goaf is figured out to provide scientific basis for fire prevention.
