For early warning and efficient prevention and control of coal spontaneous combustion fires in mines,the key is to determine the characteristic parameters of coal spontaneous combustion and the hierarchical early warning system.Through the programmed temperature increasing experiment of coal spontaneous combustion,we obtained the changes of the oxygen consumption rate,CO gas,C2 H4 and other gases with temperature under different oxygen concentrations for coal samples from the 2# working face of Meihuajing Coal Mine.Combined with the field data,we determined the spontaneous combustion of coal in the goaf area.The prediction index gases of CO,CH4,C2H4 and C2H6 are used,and the Grignard fire coefficients R2,R3 and C2H4/C2H6 are adopted as prediction indexes for auxiliary coal spontaneous combustion.The indicator early warning level of Meihuajing Mine coal spontaneous combustion is divided into five levels of"green,yellow,blue,orange,and red",and the gas critical threshold is set to realize the identification,prevention and control of hidden coal spontaneous combustion hazards on the working face,which is important for ensuring the safety of the working face.
