Design of"T"-typed longitudinally-tearing prevention device for belt conveyors
In order to prevent the belt conveyor from longitudinally tearing,especially to meet the needs of the application of multi-lap points in coal mines,and to adapt to two layout of the inclined shaft and roadway belt conveyor,a reliable protec-tion against longitudinally-tearing of the belt surface is required.This paper introduces a new type of belt conveyor's longi-tudinally-tearing prevention device.Through analyzing the"L"-typed longitudinally-tearing prevention action principle and practical application shortcomings,based on the analysis of the actual situation of frequent misoperation after longitudinally-tearing prevention is installed on the inclined shaft belt conveyor,a"T"-typed structure with the use of double-point motion sensor is designed to meet the requirements of two kinds of blanking effect and initiation mode,improve the reliability,sta-bility and sensitivity of longitudinally-tearing prevention of belt conveyor from structure and action mode,and effectively re-duce the false operation rate of prevention.The device can not only improve the startup rate of the belt conveyor,but also ef-fectively reduce the losses caused by the longitudinally-tearing of the belt surface.
