Application of traveling wave technology in mine power supply system
The safe operation of high-voltage power supply and distribution systems in coal mines is one of the necessary conditions to ensure high production and efficiency in coal mines. Therefore, reducing high and low voltage cable faults using online monitoring methods to achieve real-time monitoring and early warning is very effective and necessary to effectively solve the problem that the power supply and distribution system cannot continue to operate safely due to cable faults. This article analyzes and compares the advantages and disadvantages of four cable fault monitoring techniques:DC superposition method, temperature monitoring method, partial discharge method, and recoverable fault method by analyzing the causes of cable faults. Finally, the small current grounding line selection technology and fault location technology based on traveling wave technology are adopted to design and establish an online monitoring power supply system for high-voltage cables. The system realizes the insulation status of high-voltage cables, early warning, fault location, and accurate grounding line selec-tion,thereby ensuring the safety of power supply.
