Roadway instability and remaining coal pillar width in continuous mining and filling working face
In order to prevent the rock burst accident caused by the influence of the remaining coal pillars in the mining process,we analyze the safety of the instability of the coal pillars on the working face. The traditional limit equilibrium theo-ry is used to calculate the width of the coal pillar, and the safety demonstration of the influence of the remaining coal pillar is carried out.The results show that when the coal seam is cut by the roadway,a certain width of coal pillar will be formed between the working face and the roadway, and the coal pillar will be in the peak area of the leading abutment pressure,re-sulting in stress concentration on the coal pillar. When the strength of the coal pillar is exceeded, instability will occur.Tak-ing the 4302C working face of Chenmanzhuang Coal Mine as the object of study, the traditional limit equilibrium theory is used to calculate the width of the coal pillar of the roadway when the safety analysis of the coal pillar of the working face is carried out. Finally, through the FLAC3D numerical simulation method, the variation law of stress distribution during the ex-cavation of the working face is analyzed.Because the 4302C working face belongs to unilateral goaf as planned, the theoreti-cal calculation results show that the reasonable coal pillar width should be greater than 26.136 m.Therefore, the coal pillar will not be destabilized.
