Seismic exploration fault interpretation based on S-transform spectral decomposition technique
Seismic exploration technology has been developed into a more mature geological exploration means and applied to geological exploration. In order to further improve the control accuracy of two-dimensional seismic data for the plane position and drop of large fault structures and three-dimensional seismic data for small faults, the basic principle of S-transform spec-tral decomposition technology is introduced. The structural geological models with different magnitude of fault drop are con-structed to simulate the forward seismic data, and the S-transform spectral decomposition technique is used to process and analyze the forward seismic data.By comparing the geological model with the forward seismic time section and the spectral decomposition section after S-transform spectral decomposition, the analysis shows that the fault structure reflects more clear-ly in the frequency domain after spectral decomposition, and application of this technique to the actual two-and three-di-mensional seismic data has obtained more reliable geological results.
