Analysis of Regional Differences in the Impact of Carbon Emission Performance on Employment in China
This paper discusses the impact of carbon emission performance on employment growth from the perspective of regional differences, and empirically analyzes the relationship between carbon emission perform-ance and local total employment by combining dynamic measurement and static measurement. The research shows that,as far as the whole country is concerned, the measurement results of the static panel model show that every one percentage point increase in carbon dioxide emission performance will increase employment by one per-centage point;According to the estimation results of the dynamic panel model, the lncmcpi coefficient is signifi-cant at the level of 1%,indicating that the improvement of carbon dioxide emission performance can significantly promote employment in the long run.As far as the regional samples are concerned, the measurement results of the static panel model show that the improvement of carbon dioxide emission performance can promote the em-ployment of the three regions, and the effect on the eastern and western regions is extremely significant, but the central region is not significant.
