Three-dimensional Finite Element Analysis of Influence of Ground Stress on Stability of Surrounding Rock of Underground Powerhouse
The stability of underground engineering is closely related to the initial ground stress state of rock mass.In order to ensure the stability of excavation of large underground cavern group of pumped storage power station,it is necessary to invert the initial ground stress field and analyze the stability of surrounding rock before construction.Based on the measured ground stress and ground stress inversion results as boundary conditions, the influence of initial ground stress on the stability of surrounding rock mass in Xingcheng underground caisson group is comprehensively evaluated based on finite element method, focusing on the safety and stability of rock mass structure in important parts such as side wall and top arch, which can provide a basis for reasonable selection of support methods and supporting parameters for underground powerhouse
