Soft soil,as a special regional soil,is widely distributed in the coastal areas,along rivers and lakes,and has obvious regional characteristics and uncertainties.The physical and mechanical characteristics of soft soil foundation treatment for regional buildings should be studied.This paper uses mathematical statistics method to analyze the collected data of physical and mechanical indexes of soft soil in Wuhu area,establishes the linear fitting formula between physical and mechanical indexes,and compares it with the theoretical formula.Finally,by comparing the theoretical formula with the fitting formula,the relationship between them is close to prove the reliability of the fitting formula.
