The contradiction between supply and demand of water resources is prominent in Urumqi city,and the value of water resources is relatively high,but the low water price can not truly reflect the value of water resources.In order to make better sustainable use of water resources in Urumqi,the fuzzy mathematical model was used to comprehensively evaluate the value of water resources from the four aspects of nature,population,social economy and ecological environment.The comprehensive score was 3.794,ranging from 3.5 to 4.0 points,and Urumqi was a city with high water resources value.The reasonable water price of Urumqi residents is 8.49 yuan/m3,aiming at contributing to the protection,utilization and sustainable development of water resources in Urumqi.
